Success Stories
Break-Thru !!! I can easily recommend Mr. Phillip Malone, LMT as a well-rounded professional License Massage Therapist that has: insight, professional courtesy and etiquette, and wants to succeed in helping folks tackle their unwanted tendencies of muscle tension and alignment. When I first had an appointment with Mr. Phillip, he noticed something in my physical stature, particularly my shoulders and how they were up and my head was bending forward. In other words, after a time I would be looking more at the ground than straight ahead. He requested my permission to work on my shoulders which was differently than I had experienced by a LMT. I agreed and that was my First Break-Thru! Mr. Phillip identified the problem and applied the right therapy. I mentioned that no other LMT addressed or even identified my specific problem. His comments were that most all LMT s are similarly trained. That may be I replied but none of the others, and I have been to a few, could recognize what you just did. After that initial appointment and first Break-Thru! I made additional appointments to further my progress of proper alignment and evenness of one side of the body to another. Mr. Phillip’s insight, instructions as to how to help oneself, and his systematic massage therapy approach uncovered what was the core of my tight shoulders and neck hidden under my shoulder blade or scapula. That was the Second Break-Thru !! Now I am on my way to standing and moving in a more complete, comfortable, and upright manner. Both myself and Mr. Phillip have discussed and we’re confident that the final Break Thru !!! will occur shortly, as my condition has improved tremendously. I said, “When we beat this condition I want a photo of us in a congratulatory hand shake”. John Kruze – Commercial Appraiser
Phillip is great! I come to see him for therapeutic reasons and always leave feeling I am on my way to a full recovery. He listens to me and uses my input to help me.
I began having sessions with Phillip seven months ago, hoping to get some relief from intense, chronic back pain related to scoliosis. His skilled and sensitive work not only brought consistent pain relief, but his interest in my condition and the research he did (out of his own interest and care) led me to a Schroth physical therapist who is helping me with postural change and breathing techniques. My pain level has diminished dramatically – and – I can see that my ongoing work with Phillip in conjunction with the Schroth method is leading to increasing strength and freedom of movement. I have had a lot of body work over the past five years but have never met a practitioner with such skill, compassion and interest. I am grateful to have met him and can easily give him the highest recommendation.
Phillip was awesome and I will definitely be back before long. It’s gentle but firm, a very hard balance to strike. In the past when I’ve gotten a massage I wasn’t really sure what I was paying for but with Phillip that wasn’t the case. He has a gift for feeling into the body and addressing what you have happening.
Phillip is top-rate. I agree with everything that Hobs H, Sabrina P and Lucian S have written. He completely resolved intense stiffness in my shoulder and neck after I’d spent too much time alternating between wood stacking and desk work. Like all excellent body workers, he respects boundaries, and I felt completely comfortable throughout my session. He is also caring as he encourages areas of chronic tightness to relax. Furthermore, his profound awareness of how the body functions at its best helped him retrain my body to a more dynamic and flowing set point. He is happy to explain what he is doing and is both eloquent and inspired as he answers questions. Highly recommended!

I have had the pleasure of not only receiving excellent bodywork from Phillip, but also studying, practicing, and pursuing a better understanding of the human body and how best to address its function and dysfunction. He never fails to think outside of the box, coming up with new ways to treat a client. He is honest and straightforward, passionate about his work, creating an environment of security and open communication. Phillip’s techniques are able to address pain and discomfort through active and passive movements, active release techniques, pin and stretch of the muscle, and deep tissue muscle stripping. All of these are accompanied by an educated touch which is soft enough to listen to the person, body, and tissues being changed by his therapeutic bodywork. If you want to get over and injury or live life in your body more optimally, go see Phillip. As a fellow massage therapist he is who I call.
Very intuitive and works the correct area’s so that my body responded quite well. Good result’s within a relatively short time frame.
Phillip Malone is an excellent massage therapist. He’s actually curious and interested in the human body, and takes the time to really connect to his clients. He is always interested first and foremost in understanding the issues actually going on in their bodies and then addressing them directly and indirectly through massage and movement. Phillip himself is also an excellent mover, and knows how to use his body in many different ways, and in my experience body workers are always a lot better when they themselves use their bodies a lot! So he has both the physical and the intellectual understanding in his own body and nervous system, and he uses that in an extremely intelligent approach to help his clients. I’ve gotten many massages in my time, and Phillip might not give you the most relaxing massage, but it is quite likely to be the most useful one for your needs! Highly recommended!!
Philip has been keeping my 73 year old knees and hips working well for quite awhile. He is also most helpful when it comes to explaining what I can do to help myself stay in shape between visits. Can’t imagine ever needing any other massage therapist!
I honestly can’t recommend Phillip Malone more whole-heartedly! I agree with the previous reviewer who basically said that if you want a feel good massage, Phillip is not your man. Conversely, he is EXTREMELY adept at locating exactly what the problem areas are and how to address them–sometimes even with unusual bodily contortions! LOL But make no mistake, Phillip is the best massage therapist I have found in the 30 years that I’ve been receiving massages! He is very knowledgeable, professional and has a friendly, happy demeanor. I have been using his services for the past year and have become happier and healthier because of his healing hands!
I have received many massages from Phillip for chronic pain that I have from old sports injuries. His technique is therapeutic vs. spa, which I’ve found really helps get to the core of the issue and has lasting effects instead of just feeling relaxing for a few hours before the pain returns. I would highly recommend Phillip for people who have chronic pain/muscular concerns that are wanting lasting relief from it. He also helps you develop exercises you can do at home to continue the healing process which I really appreciate.
Phillip is a powerful healer. He is able to attune immediately into where the source of discomfort is and works with focus and care to bring you relief. If you are looking for relaxation message then you have come to the wrong place. Phillip is a massage therapist who is interested in helping you for the longest terms benefit. He is not interested in having you come in every week for a year but helping you get to the source of the problem. Phillip also has a deep knowledge of the body and is able to give exercises that will help you continue healing after the session. I could not recommend him more highly.
